A compact 2-inch desktop label printer that prints crisp narrow labels with no ribbon, with built-in Ethernet, Bluetooth and USB for networked, shared-printer setups in healthcare, retail and the office.
The Zebra ZD410 is Zebra's compact 2-inch direct thermal desktop label printer, built for businesses that need crisp narrow labels from one of the smallest footprints in its class. This is the networked model with built-in Ethernet, plus Bluetooth and USB, so it slots straight into a shared-printer setup where several users or workstations send labels to the one device. It is the 203 dpi version of the ZD410.
As a direct thermal printer it prints without a ribbon, applying heat directly to thermal label stock, which keeps consumables simple: you load labels only, with no ribbon to buy or change. It prints clear text, barcodes and logos at 203 dpi and up to 152mm (6 ips) per second, across labels up to 56mm (2.20 in.) wide. Being a 2-inch printer, it is made for narrow labels rather than wide 4-inch shipping labels.
Zebra's OpenAccess design makes loading media quick and jam-free, while dual media sensors handle a wide range of label and tag stock. It speaks both ZPL and EPL, so it drops straight into existing Zebra label formats and barcode software, and it runs on Zebra's Link-OS platform. It is ENERGY STAR qualified and backed by a 24 Months Return to Base warranty.
Print patient ID wristbands and healthcare labels on a shared, networked printer.
Produce small product, price and barcode labels on demand for shops and stockrooms.
Print asset and inventory tags, name badges and visitor passes on narrow stock.
The ZD410 is Zebra's proven, established 2-inch direct thermal desktop printer, and this networked version has built-in Ethernet for shared, multi-user setups. Its newer-generation successor is the Zebra ZD411, which adds a modular connectivity slot, the option of thermal transfer printing as well as direct thermal, and Zebra's Print DNA software with PrintSecure on top of Link-OS. Both are 2-inch (56mm) printers, so the choice comes down to generation and features: choose the ZD410 for a dependable, ready-to-network 2-inch direct thermal printer, or step up to the ZD411 when you want the newer modular slot, Print DNA and thermal transfer flexibility. If you need wider labels, Zebra's 4-inch ZD420 and ZD421 handle those.
