Only part of the run needs colour. Everything that is not flagged can print on the white equivalent, same size and roll count on the same core: 100mm x 150mm white direct thermal labels, 400 per roll.
Direct thermal is the simplest printing method a despatch bench can run. There is one consumable, one thing to load and one thing to reorder, and the printer has no ribbon path to thread or jam. That is why it dominates shipping labelling, where the label only has to survive the trip. It is not the method for permanence: heat, sunlight and friction all keep developing the coating after printing, so a label that must stay sharp for years should be produced on thermal transfer stock with a ribbon behind it.
Green reads as go. It is the natural colour for orders that have cleared a step: picked and checked, QA passed, payment settled, packed and staged for the carrier. Used that way it turns a staging area into something a supervisor can audit from the doorway, because anything without a green label is still in progress. Some warehouses run it the other way and reserve green for approved or compliant stock lines. Either way the colour sits in the label material, so the signal holds even when the print comes out light.
Every roll carries 400 labels one across on a 25mm (1 inch) core, the standard fit for 4 inch desktop direct thermal printers such as Zebra ZD, TSC, Brother and Godex. 100mm x 150mm is the metric 4" x 6" shipping size, so eParcel, StarTrack, Sendle, Aramex, Couriers Please and TNT consignment labels print to it without adjustment. The permanent adhesive is rated for cartons, satchels and most clean, dry surfaces, and every label is perforated so it tears off straight without a cutter.

Use this roll where the colour means finished: picked and checked, QA passed, packed and staged for pickup. Colour only earns its place on part of the run, so plain white 100mm x 150mm stays the cheaper option for standard parcels, and if you run a mid-range printer that takes a 76mm core, the 1000 label roll is the better fit for volume.
