A premium 4-inch desktop label printer that prints fast at up to 8 inches per second with the richest connectivity in Zebra's desktop range, and a fitted guillotine cutter for hands-free label cut-off.
The Zebra ZD620 is the premium model in Zebra's desktop label printer range, sitting above the popular ZD420 and ZD421 printers. It is built for businesses that need faster throughput, networked connectivity and the reliability to handle higher daily label volumes. This is the direct thermal model with Bluetooth, Ethernet, Serial and USB, and it ships with a guillotine cutter fitted for automatic label cut-off.
As a premium desktop printer it prints crisp text, barcodes and logos at 203 dpi and at speeds of up to 8 inches (203mm) per second, which is faster than the 6 ips of the standard ZD420 and ZD421. It prints across labels up to 104mm wide, making it a true 4-inch desktop printer for shipping, product, barcode and asset labels. Zebra's OpenAccess design makes loading media quick and jam-free, while dual media sensors handle a wide range of label and tag stock.
Being a direct thermal printer, it needs no ribbon and prints straight onto heat-sensitive label stock, which keeps it simple to run for short-to-medium-life labels. The ZD620 also supports an optional colour LCD display for standalone operation and easier setup, and runs on Zebra's Link-OS and Print DNA software with both ZPL and EPL. It is ENERGY STAR qualified and backed by a 24 Months Return to Base warranty.
Print and auto-cut shipping, carton and barcode labels at speed for busy dispatch areas.
Share one printer across a network or serial setup for product, price and shelf labels.
Handle heavier daily duty cycles where faster throughput and reliability matter most.
The ZD620 is Zebra's premium desktop printer, a step up from the standard Zebra ZD420. Choose the ZD620 when you need higher volumes, faster throughput at up to 8 ips, networked and serial connectivity, a fitted cutter and the option of an on-printer colour display. The ZD420 and ZD421 are the value choice for lighter use where 6 ips speed and Bluetooth or USB connectivity are enough. Both ranges print at 203 dpi across a 104mm width, so the decision comes down to speed, connectivity and duty cycle. If you need durable, long-life labels rather than short-to-medium-life direct thermal labels, a Thermal Transfer ZD620 is also available.
