The Posiflex RT-2015 is a super slim, bezel free 15 inch touch terminal with no fan in it. This particular part number, PFRT2015CB-40128S, is the build supplied with no operating system. That is the point of it: if your site images its own terminals, runs Linux, or holds a volume Windows licence of its own, you are not paying for a copy of Windows you are about to wipe.
Underneath, it is the standard RT-2015. An Intel Bay Trail J1900 quad core runs up to 2.42GHz with 2MB of cache against 4GB of DDR3L memory and a 128GB SSD. The housing is die-cast aluminium, which carries heat out without a fan, and the front is projected capacitive glass. Ports are three serial, one USB 3.0, three USB 2.0, LAN, VGA and mini DisplayPort. A 10 inch LCD customer display can be mounted on it, and the base takes an optional USB or powered USB expansion module. Backed by a 36 Months Return to Base warranty.
No operating system in the box, so you are not paying for a Windows licence you intend to wipe.
