A newer-generation 2-inch desktop label printer with high-resolution 300 dpi printing, built for tiny labels, fine text and dense barcodes, with Bluetooth, Ethernet and USB connectivity built in.
The Zebra ZD411 is a compact 2-inch desktop label printer from Zebra's newer-generation desktop range, designed for businesses that print small, highly detailed labels. This is the direct thermal 300 dpi model with Bluetooth, Ethernet and USB, so it prints without a ribbon and connects almost anywhere out of the box.
At 300 dpi, this printer resolves much finer detail than a standard 203 dpi unit, which makes it ideal for very small labels, fine text and dense, high-density barcodes printed on narrow media. It prints at up to 152mm per second (6 ips) across labels up to 56mm (2.20 in) wide, and it speaks both ZPL and EPL, so it drops straight into existing Zebra label formats and barcode software.
Zebra's OpenAccess design makes media loading quick and jam-free, while dual media sensors handle a wide range of label and tag stock. A modular connectivity slot lets you add interfaces later, and the printer runs on Zebra's Link-OS platform with Print DNA and PrintSecure for easier management and added security. It is ENERGY STAR qualified and backed by a 24 Months Return to Base warranty.
Print tiny product, electronics and component labels where fine detail matters most.
Produce patient ID wristbands and pathology labels with crisp, scannable small barcodes.
Create small jewellery, barcode and asset labels that stay sharp and readable.
This listing is the 300 dpi direct thermal ZD411, the high-resolution version of Zebra's 2-inch desktop printer. Its closest alternative is the 203 dpi direct thermal ZD411, which shares the same direct thermal print method, the same 6 ips speed and the same 2-inch design, but resolves less detail. Choose the 300 dpi model when you print small, detailed labels such as fine text and dense barcodes on narrow media; the 203 dpi model is perfectly fine for general labelling. If you need durable, longer-life labels, a thermal transfer ZD411 that uses a ribbon is also available, and if you need wider labels the 4-inch ZD420 and ZD421 printers handle media up to 104mm.

A 300 dpi printhead resolves finer detail than a standard 203 dpi unit, which means sharper small text, crisper logos and denser, more reliable barcodes on small labels. It is the better choice when your labels are narrow and packed with detail.

No. This is the direct thermal model, so it prints without a ribbon. Direct thermal is best for short-to-medium-life labels, and it keeps running costs and setup simple because there is no ribbon to load or replace.
Choose the 300 dpi model when you print small, detailed labels such as fine text and dense, high-density barcodes on narrow media. The 203 dpi model is fine for general labelling where ultra-fine detail is not essential.
