More About These Labels
Swapping paper for a synthetic film is what gives this roll its durability. It resists moisture, oils, cleaning chemicals and scuffing, and keeps its grip and legibility through temperature swings that would ruin a paper label.
Print these on a thermal transfer printer with a resin or wax/resin ribbon. That pairing bonds a hard, water and scratch-resistant image to the plastic face, so the print lasts as long as the label does. A plain wax ribbon smears off synthetic stock, and direct thermal will not mark it at all because there is no heat-sensitive coating.
At 100mm (W) x 100mm (L) on a 76mm core, this size is commonly used for drum, chemical and GHS warning labels, carton and outer-packaging labels, outdoor asset and equipment tags, and cold-store or washdown environments. The 76mm core fits mid-range and industrial thermal transfer printers such as Zebra, TSC, Brother and Datamax.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are these labels waterproof?
Do I need a special ribbon?
Will they fit my printer?
Can they be used outdoors or in a freezer?
Worth it when a paper label has already failed you at this size, or when the label has to stay scannable after a washdown, a freezer cycle or months outdoors. For dry indoor use, paper stock is the cheaper pick. Not sure which label or ribbon suits your printer? Call POS PLAZA on 1300 115 808 or browse the Synthetic Labels range.
