The Sunmi NT320 (Wi-Fi and Bluetooth build) is a compact 80 mm thermal printer that handles receipts and labels from the one device and connects four ways: USB-C, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. That makes it a fit for tablet tills, cloud ordering and any counter where running a data cable is awkward.

It draws its power over USB at 5V/2A, so there is no adapter to mount, and the whole unit is 130 x 140 x 145 mm and 875 g. Sunmi built the housing to stack, so a second unit can sit on the first instead of claiming more bench.

Four ways to connect, including cloud

Wired installs use USB-C or 100 Mbps Ethernet. Wireless installs use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, which is what most tablet-based POS apps expect, and the printer reconnects as soon as it powers on rather than needing re-pairing each morning.

Beyond the local network it supports cloud printing over MQTT and HTTPS through Sunmi's Open API. An online or delivery order can print directly on the counter without passing through a till on site, so a docket appears as the order is placed even if nobody is standing at the terminal. If you never need that, ignore it and run the printer over USB or Ethernet.

One printer for dockets and labels

Fitted with 80 mm receipt stock it prints ESC/POS receipts at up to 150 mm/s at 203 dpi. Fitted with die-cut label stock between 30 mm and 78 mm wide it prints TSPL labels up to 150 mm high, using a gap sensor for registration. Cup labels, bag labels and shelf tickets come from the same machine as the customer receipt.

Frequently asked questions

Can the NT320 print from a tablet or phone without a cable?
Yes. This build carries Wi-Fi and Bluetooth alongside USB-C and Ethernet, so an iPad, Android tablet or phone running your POS app can send jobs to it wirelessly. Sunmi also supports instant reconnection, so the printer is ready to accept jobs as soon as it powers on rather than needing to be re-paired at the start of a shift.
What is cloud printing on this printer, and do I need it?
Cloud printing lets an order reach the printer straight from a web service instead of passing through a till on the premises. The NT320 talks MQTT and HTTPS and Sunmi exposes an Open API for it. In practice that suits online ordering and delivery: a docket lands on the counter the moment the order is placed, with no local POS terminal in the path. If you only print from a till on site you can ignore it entirely and use USB or Ethernet.
Does the NT320 do labels as well as receipts?
It does both from the one unit. Receipts print in ESC/POS on rolls up to 80 mm wide; labels print in TSPL on die-cut stock from 30 mm to 78 mm wide and up to 150 mm high, with a gap sensor handling registration. For a venue printing both customer dockets and order labels, that is one device and one consumable supplier instead of two.
Is a power supply included?
There is no separate power brick to lose. The printer draws 5V/2A through its USB-C port, so one cable does power and data. On a wireless install you still need that cable for power, but it can run to any USB charger or terminal port rather than a mains adapter.
Does this model include the barcode scanner?
No. This is the connectivity build. If you want the integrated 1D and 2D scanner in the front panel, order the NT320 Scanner build instead, which has USB-C and Ethernet but no wireless. The two builds are otherwise identical.
Will it work with my POS or ordering platform?
It uses ESC/POS and TSPL, the two most widely supported printer command sets, with Sunmi drivers for Windows, Android, iOS and Linux and Sunmi MDM for fleet management. Cloud integrations go through the Open API. Platform support does vary, so check it against your provider's hardware list or call us on 1300 115 808 and we will confirm before you buy.
Can it trigger a cash drawer?
Yes. An RJ12 kick-out port on the rear drives a standard cash drawer, so the printer can serve as the front-counter receipt printer as well as a wireless or cloud docket printer.
How much space does it take, and can I stack them?
It is 130 x 140 x 145 mm and 875 g, a compact cube rather than a long receipt printer, and Sunmi designed the housing to stack so two units can share the same counter area. There is a 1 W speaker for audible new-order alerts, which matters on a busy collection counter.
