The Sunmi NT320 (Scanner build) is a compact 80 mm thermal printer that does three jobs in one cube: it prints receipts, it prints labels, and it has a 1D and 2D barcode scanner built into the front panel. For a counter that is short on space, that removes a handheld scanner, its cradle and its cable from the bench entirely.

It runs on a single USB-C cable at 5V/2A, so there is no power brick, and it adds a wired Ethernet port for fixed installs. At 130 x 140 x 145 mm and 875 g it takes up roughly the footprint of a coffee mug's saucer, and the housing is designed to stack.

Scan and print from one device

The scanner window sits on the front face, angled towards the customer side of the counter. Staff can read a product barcode, a QR pick-up code from a phone screen or a loyalty code without reaching for a second device. It handles the usual 1D symbologies including CODE128, CODE39, EAN13 and GS1 DataBar, plus QR Code and PDF417 in 2D.

Where that earns its place: click-and-collect desks scanning order codes off phones, small retail counters that cannot fit a scanner stand, market and pop-up stalls where every cable is a liability, and cafe collection points where the same device prints the docket and reads the pick-up code.

Receipts and labels on one machine

The NT320 switches between two jobs. Loaded with 80 mm receipt stock it prints ESC/POS receipts at up to 150 mm/s. Loaded with die-cut labels from 30 mm to 78 mm wide it prints TSPL labels up to 150 mm high, with a gap sensor for registration. Order labels for cups, bags and shelf tickets come off the same printer as the customer receipt, which is a genuine saving over running a receipt printer and a label printer side by side.

Frequently asked questions

What does the integrated scanner on this model do?
It reads 1D and 2D barcodes straight from the front of the printer, so one device covers both scanning and printing. Staff present a product, a QR code on a customer's phone or a pick-up code to the window on the front panel, and the printer handles it without a separate handheld scanner taking up counter space or needing its own cable and cradle. For collection counters and quick-service venues that is one less thing to buy, mount and replace.
Does the NT320 print labels as well as receipts?
Yes, both, and that is the point of the NT320. It takes 80 mm receipt rolls and prints ESC/POS receipts, and it takes die-cut label stock from 30 mm to 78 mm wide and up to 150 mm high using TSPL label commands. A gap sensor handles label registration. That means one machine on the counter can print the customer docket and the order label for the bag or cup.
Does it need a power supply?
No separate brick. The NT320 runs on 5V/2A over its USB-C port, so a single cable to the terminal carries both power and data. That is unusual for an 80 mm printer and it is why the footprint stays small: no adapter to find a powerpoint for and nothing extra under the counter.
Which connections does this variant have?
This build (Aniluin C04050007) has USB-C and Ethernet plus the integrated scanner. It has no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. If you need wireless, the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth build of the NT320 is the one to order, though it does not include the scanner.
Will it work with my POS software?
It speaks ESC/POS for receipts and TSPL for labels, which are the two standards most POS and label software already support, and Sunmi publishes drivers for Windows, Android, iOS and Linux. Cloud printing is available through Sunmi's Open API over MQTT or HTTPS. As always, check the model against your POS provider's hardware list, or call us on 1300 115 808 and we will confirm it before you order.
Can it open a cash drawer?
Yes, there is an RJ12 cash drawer kick-out port on the back, so it can sit at the front counter as the main receipt printer and trigger the drawer on sale completion.
How big is it, and how loud?
130 x 140 x 145 mm and 875 g, so it is a compact cube rather than a traditional long receipt printer, and it stacks. There is also a 1 W speaker built in for audible new-order alerts, which is useful on a collection counter where a silent print can be missed.
