It prints sharp 203dpi barcodes and labels at up to 7 ips over USB, USB Host, Serial (RS232) and Ethernet, a dependable choice for a fixed counter or packing bench where wired connectivity is preferred.
A built-in peeler separates each label from its backing as it prints, so staff can peel and apply in one motion, ideal for product, address and compliance labelling. With ZPL II (BPL-Z), SLCS and EPL emulation plus OPOS/JPOS, Windows, CUPS and BarTender UltraLite drivers, it integrates with existing label software, including Zebra ZPL workflows, at a lower price than the wireless model.
The XD5-40d comes in two configurations. Both share the same 203dpi, 4-inch, 7 ips direct thermal engine and 256MB memory; the difference is connectivity and label finishing.
