The BIXOLON XD5-40d (CEBK/AUS) is the wireless, auto-cutter configuration of BIXOLON's 4-inch direct thermal desktop label printer. It prints crisp 203dpi barcodes and labels at up to 7 ips, and its dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth V4.1 and wired Ethernet, Serial and USB let it drop into almost any counter, warehouse or mobile setup without being tied to one cable.
A field-installable auto cutter is included, so labels are cut cleanly to length for shipping, pick-and-pack and order fulfilment. With ZPL II (BPL-Z), SLCS and EPL emulation plus OPOS/JPOS, Windows, CUPS and BarTender UltraLite drivers, it slots into existing label workflows, including Zebra ZPL environments, with minimal changes.
The XD5-40d comes in two configurations. Both share the same 203dpi, 4-inch, 7 ips direct thermal engine and 256MB memory; the difference is connectivity and label finishing.
