Nearly Double The Roll, Far Fewer Changes
This is the same 100mm continuous linerless stock as the 80m roll, wound to 153m on a 76mm industrial core. That is close to double the material in one roll, which on a high-volume despatch line is the difference between changing rolls twice a shift and changing once.
The 76mm core is the industrial and mid-range printer standard rather than the 25mm desktop size, so check which your linerless printer takes before ordering. If your machine is a compact desktop unit you almost certainly want the 25mm core version instead.

What printers take a 76mm core?
Industrial and mid-range machines, generally, rather than compact desktop units. The 76mm core is the larger of the two common linerless sizes and it also needs the linerless hardware: a non-stick platen and a cutter or tear bar designed for adhesive-backed web. If your printer is a small desktop model it almost certainly wants the 25mm core roll instead.
How much more do I actually get over the 80m roll?
153m against 80m, so a little over 1.9 times the material in one roll. In practical terms, at a 150mm despatch label that is roughly 1,020 labels per roll instead of about 530. On a line running a few hundred labels a shift it turns two roll changes into one.
Is a ribbon needed?
No, and there is nothing else consumable either. This is direct thermal, so the image comes from heat alone. Worth knowing for a busy despatch operation: your only stock line is the roll itself, which makes reordering and shelf space simpler than a thermal transfer setup where ribbon and label have to be kept in step.
What does linerless save on a high-volume line?
Two costs that scale with throughput. Waste disposal drops to nothing, because there is no silicone-coated backing web to collect and remove, and operator time drops because a longer usable roll means fewer stoppages. Neither shows up on the price per roll, which is why linerless tends to look dearer per metre and cheaper per shift.
Is the adhesive suitable for cartons and pallets?
It is a permanent rubber based adhesive, which suits cardboard, plastic film and the slightly rough recycled board most cartons are made from now. For a chilled or frozen application, or anything that needs to survive months outdoors, talk to us instead: direct thermal and a general purpose adhesive are not the right answer there.
Should I buy this or the 25mm core version?
Let the printer decide. Check the core diameter your linerless printer accepts, then buy the roll that fits it. Only if your machine takes both should roll length come into it, and then the longer roll wins on volume lines and the shorter one wins where the printer needs to stay compact.
Choose this one for a high-throughput despatch or production line running a linerless printer on a 76mm core, where roll changes cost you more than the extra stock does.
