These labels use a synthetic film facestock in place of paper. That is what makes them waterproof and tear-resistant, and what lets them shrug off oils, solvents, abrasion, UV and both heat and freezing while staying stuck and readable.
Run the roll on a thermal transfer printer with a resin or wax/resin ribbon. Resin bonds a sealed image to the plastic that survives solvent wipes and abrasion. Skip plain wax, which smears, and direct thermal, which cannot mark synthetic stock at all. Perforation between labels lets each one tear off cleanly by hand.
At 85mm (W) x 80mm (L) on a 25mm core, this size is commonly used for product and packaging labels, asset and equipment identification, workshop and fluid labels, and cold-store or washdown areas. The 25mm core fits desktop thermal transfer printers such as Zebra, TSC, Brother and Datamax.
